The Balloon Tree

This afternoon, my five year old and I buried a fully inflated balloon at the base of the tree in our front yard. A warm spring evening; a full moon; and a 24 hour grocery store; should make for a magical morning!

That is awesome. We will be planting our balloons this week. What happens if you plant a balloon animal like a dog? Should you plant a water balloon next to the first balloon? Howabout if the balloon is full of helium -- does the tree grow higher? Did you need a special zoning permit for balloon trees? Didn't the Native Americans plant a balloon next to each corn seed. Although I guess you couldn't do it with pop-corn. I will have to do more research on this.
